Saudara Mohd Ashraf Hafiz Abdul Aziz, who failed in an application to change its name to Aleesha Farhana, passed away while being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah, Kuala Terengganu, yesterday at 5 a.m.
His father, Abdul Aziz Ahmad, 60, when contacted, said his son is expected to be buried after Zuhur.
He added that he waited for other family members to discuss the location of the deceased Mohd Ashraf will be buried.
Two days ago, the doctor confirmed her son had a heart attack or "Unstable Angina with Androgenic Shock".
His father said, Mohd Ashraf Hafiz, 25, previously suffered depression after the application he filed at the Kuala Lumpur High Court to change his name to a woman, was dismissed on 18 July 2011.
Mohd Ashraf Hafiz who hails from Seberang Takir, KualaTerengganu, previously applied to change its name in the MyKad to Aleesha Farhana Abdul Aziz after he was transgender in Thailand two years ago.
