This recent during a council of Malaysian Indian Congress ( MIC ) at the Putra World Trade Centre ( PWTC ), it's president Y.A.B. Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu suggested to his delegation to tie on a shoe necklace to a picture of former prime minister, Y.B. Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed.
This actions follow by a word from Tun who said the president of MIC do nothing to help indian community. As the effect, many delegations did not accepted the words by Tun where they feel Tun is trying to intefere to inner problem of MIC. By that, the youth leader T. Mohan suggested to the council to put on a shoe necklace to Tun for his bad mouth. Usually, indian people tie on a flower necklace as for greeting a guest.However, not all delegation agrees to his suggestion in fact it was just his ( Mohan ) personal expression. But in the meantime, the council totally agreed not to allow any outsider especially Tun to get intefere to the inner problem of MIC in advance.
As we know, Tun are well-known as a big mouth politician and he won't stop from give his criticism for the sake of the country. It is because he used to be a prime minister even the longest prime minister for 22 years and definitely have a lots of experiances in politic.
Therefore, no one can underestimate his ( Tun ) ability in delivering an opinion to his former partner in government.
